LouAnn Wukitsch

LouAnn Wukitsch

LouAnn Wukitsch is a glass artist specializing in creating contemporary wall and aerial installations. “When I started working with glass, I was fortunate to learn from great artists who encouraged me to try anything I could imagine.  As a result, I’m drawn to experimentation and enjoy creating pieces that step outside the boundaries of traditional glass.”

Wukitsch’s work is largely influenced her past careers in advertising, marketing and Six Sigma process design. Her artistry and detail are a reflection of her left–brain and right-brain synthesis. Wukitsch is also heavily influenced by architecture and nature, with common themes around organic shapes as well as structural beauty.

The Echo Collection is a series of circular wall sculpture installations. The name of the collection was sparked by the bands of color that blend seamlessly into one another. As with an echo, these pieces remind us that what we put out into the world has a ripple effect on countless others, and then frequently comes back to us in some form.

Wukitsch has won awards for her work from Imagine Museum (St. Petersburg, Florida) and ACA (Cincinnati, Ohio). Over the past nine years, she has been trained in the art of kilnformed glass by national and international artists and is represented by multiple galleries in the United States. She currently resides in Fort Myers, Florida.
